London Court Withdraws Cartes Subscription for History Project

At the Guildhall Court of Common Council on Thursday a motion and resolution withdrew the Subscription of 1744 to Mr Carte to fund a complete History of England. The council also passed an act repealing prior acts and orders and regulating nominations and elections for the City and County of Middlesex, setting future procedures and safeguards.
