North Fort Mood Opens Summer Training For 2000 Troops
North Hood hosts the first of four two week summer camps as about 2,000 troops from out of state move into cantonment tents for Initial training. Over the summer more than 10,000 soldiers will train at North Hood with units from Arizona Kentucky Tennessee California Michigan New Jersey and Army Reserve support units. Fort Hood 13th Sustainment Brigade provides site support while the field training equipment pool maintains equipment and supports the visit.

City Council To Award Water Improvement Contract
Gatesville city council will award a three part water project contract after bids opened May 24. Rady Associates of Fort Worth tabulated bids for a pump station a 1000 barrel ground storage tank and piping.
