Jury Finds Only Six Indictments in June Term

Government loan rates for 1958 oats and barley in Coryell County are 69 cents per bushel and 1.06 dollars per bushel respectively. Oats must grade No 3 or better and barley No 2 or better to qualify. Bloodmobile Returns to Gatesville on June 12
Coryell countians are urged to repeat a Red Cross Central Texas bloodmobile visit in Gatesville on Thursday June 12. Last spring 77 residents donated to beat a 70 pint quota and a 70 pint goal is set for next week. The unit will operate at First Baptist Church from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Charles Powell, blood program chairman, asks donors to come during those hours.

Loss of 16,000 in Hix Barn Fire at Mosheim Ranch
W T Hix of Gatesville reported 16 000 loss after a sheet iron barn on the Hix Ranch near Mosheim burned mid day Wednesday. Fire destroyed 5 000 bales of oats and clover 3 000 bushels of shelled oats 600 fleeces of mohair and 326 fleeces of wool plus the 60 by 100 foot barn. A Gatesville fire truck aided the effort. Hix blamed possible electrical wiring with exposed insulation and noted the barn contents were not insured.

Girl Scouts at Gatesville earned a superior rating after a three day camp at Fount Le Roy's Crossing. The event, concluding last Wednesday, featured 141 scouts and 38 staff led by director B. K.
