Patrick Keenan a 45 year old employee of the E J and E camp at Kirk yards was fatally injured in Gary yesterday afternoon when a speeder spilled after striking a defective switch. He died an hour later at the Steel company hospital. An other worker at the controls escaped injury by leaping to safety. The body was taken to Marshall and Dewey morgue as relatives are sought.
