The Y M M I Assn held a grand ball at Garland hall last Saturday night drawing a large crowd and raising funds for Mutual work. Miss Ethel Porter won a prize mirror in a popularity vote with 2 975 votes while Roxey Hudson, Alta Harris, Jennie Wanlass and others also received votes.

Horse Kicks Injure Local Man Mortensen
N C Mortensen of this city sustained severe injuries Wednesday when a horse kicked him in the chest as he approached the animal from the chicken coop to pat it. The blow jarred his heart and knocked him down. He spent a restless night iced up but is recovering though sore across the chest.

The residence vacated by Mr Cutler is now occupied by Mr and Mrs Howard Evans and John Thomas and wife have moved into the place vacated by H Evans. Fred Wanlass and wife of Am Fork have come to town to live and have moved into the dwelling recently vacated by Mrs Geo D Robinson and daughter who have gone to Logan to live. Of course Geo D is now the star boarder at the Wanlass eating house.
