Layton Longstrikers dominated the Champions with a 7 to 0 shut-out securing the silver state amateur championship cup. Garland struggled to advance as Layton’s pitcher and strong defense carried the game, Garland making seven errors to Layton’s one. Jensen yielded seven hits for Garland and Sandall allowed five for Layton.
