Lawn Party Honors Outgoing Ladies' Self-Culture Club Officers
A Friday lawn party at Mrs. T. H. Edwards celebrated the club’s departing officers with 200 guests. Music by Garland Orchestra featured solos and a “Woman's Progress” address. A unique luncheon service had guests marching through the house to gather food on trays, then enjoying a banquet on the lawn before returning home.

Logan Boosters Meet The Champions In One-Sided Game
The Champions shut out the Logan Boosters last Saturday afternoon, piling up 7 runs as Jensen for Garland pitched well and his support was solid. Billy Evans umpired with few disputes, and R. L. Bush scored the game while Earl Evans acted as Mascot. Fowler suffered a thumb injury in the 7th inning, and Miller replaced him at bat.
