The L. B. C. club met at Mrs. Annie Munns with 11 members present and guests Mrs. B. A. Bush and Mrs. F. O. Haws. A committee led by Mrs. Agnes Wheelon will oversee Garland Kindergarten work this season. Two prizes were offered for best kept general surroundings. Mrs. Lucy A. Clark was chosen as delegate to the Presidents of Women's Clubs meeting in Salt Lake City on April 29. Mrs. Bush read a story and Mrs. Mary Robinson sang. Refreshments were served and Mrs. Clark will host the club in two weeks.

Funeral Services for John B Olsen at Garland Hall
Funeral services for John B. Olsen aged 21 were held at Garland hall on Sunday at 12:30 pm. Attended by relatives and friends, with D E Manning presiding. U S M L and Utah Idaho Sugar Co. employees sent tributes and resolutions. Olsen’s parents had preceded him, four sisters survive, and burial was at Bear River City cemetery.

William Ureel Capener aged 15 died after a fall from a yearling colt in East Garland. Funeral services were held at Fielding meeting house with Bishop John W. Larsen presiding and East Garland ward choir. The procession moved to Fielding cemetery where he was laid to rest beside his father, who was killed years earlier.
