Weekend blaze calls keep Garland firemen busy
Garland firemen were kept busy all weekend with car fires false alarms and miscellaneous runs. Only two fires caused damage and both losses were light. Saturday at 3 32 pm a forklift backfired at Pollock Container Co starting paper in a boxcar and causing 250 dollars damage. Sunday at 3 28 am fire men responded to the home of Jerry Barnett 214 N Forest Crest with 50 dollars in damages from smoking in bed.
