First National Bank elects Duckworth assistant cashier
Robert Duckworth was elected assistant cashier of the First National Bank in Garland by the board at a June 2 meeting. He will handle payments and collections in the note department, returning to the bank June 1 of this year after prior service at Garland Federal Savings and Loan. Duckworth, a Nevada Texas Community High School graduate, is training through the American Institute of Banking and is active in local campaigns and Capeville Baptist Church.
