Garland School Board sold one million dollars in 85 year bonds to a syndicate of five investment firms for 3.311396 percent interest. Bidders represented by Bill H Estes included KRJ Edwards Dallas Oklahoma City Shearson Hammill Russ and Company Burt Hamilton and Southwestern Securities.
