Funeral rites held for Ralph W Echols
Funeral services for Ralph W. Echols, 56, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, were held at Williams Funeral Chapel. Echols died Sunday night after six weeks in a hospital. He lived in Garland since 1957 and worked at Space Corporation. Bus collision injures over twenty near Garland
A 41 passenger Greyhound bound for Memphis and a car collided at SH 78 between Wylie and Farmersville at 1 45 pm. More than 20 people were hurt and rushed to Garland Memorial Hospital Garland Medical Center Baylor Medical Center in Dallas and Collin Memorial Hospital in McKinney. The car driver Solomon Pollack 63 of Dallas was in fair condition. Eleven victims were treated at Memorial Hospital of Garland two admitted. others released after examination. Bus driver E L Irons of Pine Bluff Ark remained at scene.

Funeral services for EH Roberts of 7111 Lakewood Dallas will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at East Dallas Christian Church with Spurlock Funeral Chapel in charge. Burial follows at Restland Memorial Park. Roberts, born in 1900 in Linden Tennessee, was an insurance executive until retirement and had lived in Dallas 23 years. He is survived by three sisters Mrs L B Pledger Dallas Mrs D B Howell Aberdeen Miss and Mrs J S Murray Fort Worth. his wife died in October 1967. He was a member of the East Dallas Christian Church and the Masonic Shrine.
