Parking Lot Renamed in Honor of Garden Grove Leader Pecor
The Main Street Commission renamed the former 12916 Main St parking lot the Malcolm L. Pecor Memorial Plaza. Pecor, a 60 year Garden Grove resident who died in July at 92, helped found the Main Street Parking District and owned multiple downtown businesses including the Maple Shop on Main Street. A plaque honoring Pecor is being prepared.
