Elementary students thank police and firefighters

Garden Grove police officers Thomas Capps and Richard Burillo and Fire Department Engine No. 7, plus firefighter Mark Weisse, were honored at an Anderson Elementary School Flag Day assembly. Students and staff praised the heroes for protecting the school and aiding a nearby apartment fire response near Westminster Avenue and a KFC.
