Roundup Garden City USD 457 will debut a new user friendly site with sections for parents staff students and the community and a responsive design that adapts to phones tablets or computers. The site at www.gckscshools.com will soon offer iOS and Android apps and customization options. School Messenger assisted with development and hosting as the district plans ongoing feature updates.

USD 457 Revises Weapons Policy To Drop Air Guns
USD 457 board approved a revision removing air guns from its weapons policy and student handbook. Gov. Brownback signed a bill allowing youth shooting programs to use school facilities, changing the definition of weapon to exclude air guns. The meeting included other items on staff sharing, sports medicine, and concurrent enrollment with Garden City CC.
