Lou and Ginger Anthony celebrated Anthony’s 20th wedding anniversary as she was surprised on stage at the Grant County Civic Center receiving the 2003 Grant County Citizen of the Year plaque. Gov. Kathleen Sebelius praised her as she accepted amid about 1,300 attendees and a corsage from her husband. Anthony, longtime director of the Historic Adobe Museum, has shaped the community through promotions and a 2010s renovation funded in part by oil revenue.
