BPA linked to higher obesity risk in children study
A new study suggests a link between bisphenol A in urine and childhood obesity, with the highest BPA group about twice as likely to be obese as the lowest. Researchers caution that unhealthy diet and activity remain primary factors, and racial differences in results are not explained. Trasande and colleagues analyzed 2003–2008 NHANES data for 2,800+ children aged 6–19.
