Muslim clerics threaten legal action after U S entry denial
Ahmed Kutty aged 59 and Sheik Abdul Hamid 37, denied entry into the United States after arriving from Canada, plan to file a complaint with the Canadian government and seek legal advice on suing U S officials. They were detained Sept 11 in Fort Lauderdale, questioned by immigration and FBI, held overnight, then returned to Canada. The U S said they were inadmissible on security grounds amid privacy limits. Kutty decried the move as racial profiling.
