Garden City Board to meet for new trustee appointment
Garden City Community College Board of Trustees will gather at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Endowment Room to appoint a new member after the death of Trustee Ron Schwartz on April 15 following a cancer battle. Separate city commission meeting at 9 a.m. Friday will consider a grant with the Bureau of Reclamation to fund Clint Lightner field subsurface irrigation, aiming to reduce water use.
