Garden City approves rezoning for Pioneer Road Estates plan
Kansas City Missouri developer Vogel Properties seeks a mixed housing project for medium income residents on 11 acres at 3002 N Campus Drive. The rezoning from public facilities to single and multi family districts enables 13 duplexes on 4.4 acres and 17 single family homes on 6.6 acres north and south of Campus Drive. USD 457 owns much nearby land including the new high school. The council discussed a $400,000 grant through the Lee Housing program at the Aug 21 meeting.
