Kansas districts report 5.5 percent of 2005 subsidies totaling 59.5 million mailed abroad, with Labette and Nemaha keeping most funds locally while Morton and Hamilton see more recipients living out of state. Colorado and Texas emerge as top out of state beneficiaries, reflecting complex ownership and land rental practices across states.
