Kansas State entomologists report aphid numbers remain high in northern fields while natural enemies suppress infestations in much of the state. Parasitic wasps have already parasitized over half of some fields. some areas still need treatment. Cattle grubs and heel fly activity prompt urging timely grub control with approved grubicides, noting high potential losses without proper treatment. SACRAMENTO Calif AP Two laws signed by Gov Ronald Reagan curb campus disruption. They impose criminal penalties on those ordered off campuses who return without permission and revoke state financial aid for students taking part in campus disorders. Reagan said the state will not fund students who destroy the institutions they attend.
