Agency eyes reintegration unit at former Scott County Hospital
City On A Hill Executive Director Chris Lund outlined a three phase plan to Scott County commissioners on November 6 to expand the Marienthal 30 day program into a reintegration facility. The unused west wing of the former hospital would host the new phase allowing recovering clients to live in a sober setting while addressing life and social skills. Currently patients complete initial treatment in Marienthal then travel to Salina Topeka or Lawrence for reintegration care.
