Family speaks in Garden City on Carr brothers case
Roundup speakers will address victims' kin at 7 p.m. Thursday in Garden City. Kansans for Justice promotes removing Kansas Supreme Court justices who overturned the Carr brothers death sentences. The Carr brothers were convicted of robbing, raping, kidnapping and shooting five people in Wichita in 2000 and sentenced to death in 2002. The Kansas Supreme Court vacated most murder convictions in 2014, and the US Supreme Court ruled 8-1 the reversal was improper.
