Kansas militia plot targets Somali community in Wichita area
Federal officials disclosed a lone wolf style plot by three Liberal suspects linked to a militia group aiming to detonate bombs at an apartment complex housing Somali immigrants in Garden City. The plan, stopped October 14, involved stockpiled weapons and four vehicle explosives. Local leaders condemn anti-Muslim rhetoric fueling such extremism and warn of broader domestic terror risk.
