Youth craft class begins November 2 at Garden City

A Saturday program for fourth through sixth graders starts November 2, running 10 to 11 a.m. with a $15 fee. Projects include reindeer from dog biscuits, Hershey kiss Christmas lights, and a wooden red cardinal centerpiece. Pre-register at the Garden City Recreation Commission.

Pumpkin carving course at GCRC opens for youth

A pumpkin carving course at GCRC invites youths aged 10 to 15 to join a session on Tuesday from 5 15 to 6 30 p m. Participants must bring a pumpkin while borrowing ideas and tools is available. The fee is 3 dollars. For more information call 276 1200.

Finney County Historical Society invites registrations for the Fourth Annual Ghost Town Bus Tour on November 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day trip covers Garden City and Holcomb with stops at Garden City Depot Little Finnup House Sunnyland Buffalo Hotel El Rancho Wiley School Valley View Cemetery and other sites.
