No cancer link found in Danish cellphone study
A BMJ online report of 358,403 Danes aged 30 plus from 1990 to 2007 shows no overall increase in cancer risk for cellphone users. Ten years of use yielded similar cancer rates to nonusers, and tumors near the head were not more common among users. The study, funded by Denmark's Strategic Research Council, notes a possible small risk in heavy users but finds little causal evidence.
