Marine finally laid to rest for Mayaguez rescue mission
Pfc. James Jacques, missing since the 1975 Koh Tang helicopter crash during the Mayaguez rescue, was buried with full honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery Denver. DNA confirmed identity this year after tags found in 1992 and remains turned over in 2007. About 50 veterans attended as doves were released and the sister recalled the day with closure.
