Garden City Busters Rout Butler 43-0 For Top NJCAA Status
Garden City Community College thrashed Butler 43-0 at Broadcaster Stadium to snap an all-time slump, reach No. 3 in the NJCAA rankings, and showcase a dominant defense plus a potent passing game led by freshman Peyton Huslig who threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns. Huslig’s debut impressed coach Jeff Sims as he started Huslig at QB after Lawson’s suspension, while Hazlett hauled in key catches. The Busters now loom as a national contender with a stingy defense allowing seven points per game and special teams producing touchdowns.
