Community rallies to help Plymell family in time of loss
Lorri Lear of Plum-B celebrated 35 years of marriage with Boyd Lear after meeting at Western Bible College in Denver. Lorri died at 58 after a long illness and years of radiation following brain tumor removal. In a remarkable display, Plymell farmers organized a cutting crew using six combines and numerous grain trucks to harvest her husband’s corn in hours, before gathering 85 people for a community meal at Plymell Elevator.
