Freshman goalie Torres shifts to field for Buffalo soccer
It wasn’t a deep passion to be goalkeeper that drew Torres from goalie to field but fear of being touched in the open. He debuted strong in goal over two seasons with 13 wins and dazzling saves before Miguel Benitez’s move to a club nudge shifted Torres to full-time field play, a role he knows little about after mostly defending.
