Krowbar, a Belgian Malinois with the U S Customs Service at San Ysidro, retires after seven years of service that yielded seizures totaling more than 65 000 pounds of marijuana 700 pounds of cocaine and 34 pounds of heroin. The dog faced a $50 000 bounty from the Arellano Felis cartel but continued work until retirement at age ten.
