Pope to name up to twenty five new cardinals

Vatican sources say Pope John Paul II may elevate as many as 25 new cardinals in the New Year to fill aging ranks. Archbishops Edward Egan Theodore McCarrick and Justin Rigali are among likely choices as observers note the 120 cardinal limit and aging eligibility.
