Democrat Lori Jensen defeated longtime Republican Dennis Jones to become Kearny County attorney. Jensen, who runs Jensen Law Office in Garden City, won 795 votes to 521, claiming wide early leads and a decisive victory after more than 20 years of Jones in the post. Jones did not comment.
