Neighbors: Berg builds toys parts in steady batches
Berg compares his work ethic to a GM line, making toy bodies axles and wheels in batches of about 100. From January to June he hit 1,200 parts, hoping to reach 2,000 if strength holds. He grew up in North Dakota as one of ten children during hard times, his father a farmer who lost everything and found work as a blacksmith and cook for rail crews.
