Lack of statewide Kansas races muted turnout push
In Kansas the absence of statewide races dulls election excitement as officials say turnout will be limited. Republican Kris Kobach and party leaders note few high profile contests beyond the presidential race, with only scattered district races and minimal Senate pressure to mobilize voters. Both parties emphasize ground games and personal contact to spur participation.
