What i planned on doing originally was going to Kun for four years but everyone said i should either go big or go Home and i would rather not go Home Ortega said and then laughed. So ism going to Kun for a year still because i was already accepted there for the school of music and then i Hope to Transfer to Nyu new York University for the rest of the time. Ortega wants to become a music educator because he believes that is what helped him find his own voice and he wants to return the favor. I realized that i wanted to help students by finding their own voice because thatus helped me so much More than my teachers actually think that it has he said. As a kid he said he went through several traumatic experiences including the divorce of his parents. So i wanted to help other kids so i wanted to do child psychology or something of the sort Ortega said. But then i realized that i cant really live without music in my life so music education would be really really great to go into. He said attending Nyu also will enable him to pursue his other dream of performing on Broadway. The dream has always been Broadway but music education is a really Good degree. Its a really Good backup he said. Sam Brownback signed legislation Friday that will make it easier for attorney general Derek Schmidt to investigate and resolve violations of the states open records and open meetings Laws. He 2256, which was crafted by schmidts office enables the attorney general to determine whether a Public Agency has failed to follow the states open records and open meeting Laws and either impose a penalty or enter into a consent order without the need of court action. The attorney general could impose a civil penalty of $ 500 and require training for agencies found in violation.
