Butcher's Son stage ties refugee tale to family
GC Native Tran brings his refugee journey to the stage with The Butcher's Son a Vietnam era memoir in play form. He portrays himself and his father who preached in Garden City Kansas, linking memories to community dialogue and a remembrance exhibit Forty Years Fallen. The show debuts at Garden City Community College with a regional tour supported by Arts KC and the National Endowment for the Arts.
