Beta Zeta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa hosted its May 9 gathering with initiation of four new members Shanel Angel Jill Regal Keri Peterson Patsy Fort Thirteen members and four initiates attended. Officers approved minutes affirmed and praise flowed for Mary Lou Hayes family and recruiter Melinda Stewart. A Books on the Bus project supported the summer reading program. Future meeting site decisions were approved with hostesses to choose venues. Secrets shared and signs made. Bridge results and 4 H Challengers activities noted along with plans for Beef Empire Days parade and trophy donations.
Dorothy Dotts won high across five tables at the Senior Center pitch event on Tuesday. Galen Schmidt placed second. Bob Hensley, Bob Lopez and Jeanette Taylor tied for third.
