Flesch captures Colonial title on 37th birthday
Steve Flesch won the Colonial by one stroke with a final 67, finishing 11 under 269. Chad Campbell tied for the lead after a 66 on Saturday but settled for second after a 68 final round. It was Flesch’s second PGA Tour win after withdrawing from the Byron Nelson Championship a week earlier due to back and fatigue.

Frazier places fourth in 100 back at state meet
Garden City swimmer Brynn Frazier finished fourth in the 100 backstroke at the KSHSAA State Swimming and Diving Meet at Kansas State University. She also placed 11th in the 50 free, with Wichita Trinity and Olathe East leading the team standings. Frazier will return as a senior with teammates Claire Dunford and Rose Goodman next year.
