Splash of color and updates mark Garden City Big Pool reopening
Under city management the Big Pool in Garden City reopens Saturday with a full refresh. The bathhouse exterior, concession area, and pool bottoms were upgraded with epoxy and new décor. A mural by Garden City artist Justin Brown now greets visitors. Admission stays at $2 and the pool will run through Sept 9 with weekend hours after school starts.
