New Interstate Bus Route Set Through Garden City
Kansas officials announce a new interstate bus link between Wichita and Pueblo Colorado. BP moves to siphon gulf oil with undersea tube plan

Lawmakers leave disaster payments out of budget
Kansas lawmakers left $16.8 million of the planned $27 million state share of disaster payments unpaid in the coming fiscal year. The open disasters date to 2007 include Greensburg and Chapman tornadoes, winter storms and southeast flooding. State funds plus federal aid total about $102 million for 2011, with possible further $10 million installments if approved.

General Motors Reinstates Dealership Contract in Garden City
Lewis Motors at 1903 E. US Highway 50 in Garden City has secured a one year GM contract renewal to sell Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles with potential for a five year extension if 2010 sales targets are met.
