Church struggle signals Episcopal divide
ACCOKEEK Md AP The Christ Episcopal Church rector Samuel Edwards faces removal by May 25 after his writings calling the Episcopal Church hell bound and unchurch. The dispute centers on church liberal policies and a wider Anglican division with Archbishop George Carey noting concerns. Edwards led the parish since last March amid a vestry backed hire amid broader tensions within the 77 million member communion.
