Senior send-off fuels Garden City upset of Hays
Senior Day heroes Jennifer St Clair and Syndi Hernandez led Garden City High to its biggest win of the season over Hays in a doubleheader. St Clair tied the nightcap with a solo homer and Hernandez made the final defensive play, as the Lady Bulls rallied from early deficits to win 4 3 and 2 0, spoiling Hays bid for the Western Athletic Conference title. St Clair and Hernandez sign to play junior college ball next season, adding emotional resonance to the finish at home.
