South Korea study finds higher autism traits rate
A five year study in Goyang City near Seoul screened 55,000 children ages 7 to 12 and found about 2.6 percent with autism traits, higher than the U.S. estimate of 1 percent. Most undiagnosed cases were among mainstream students with mild social impairments. Researchers note undetected prevalence may be common in many nations.
