Zoo Exhibit Gets Grant for Kansas Waters Yard Exhibit
Lee Richardson Zoo will receive a 75000 grant from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks to fund the Kansas Waters exhibit. The project, costing about 330000, will restock the grounds with otters and native fish, with construction slated for late this year or early 2004. The Friends group has raised over 250000 in two years.
