Senator requests drought relief for 21 Kansas counties
US Senator Jerry Moran urged Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to declare 21 Kansas counties as agricultural disaster areas due to drought, wildfires, and high winds. The counties include Finney, Gove, Grant, Greeley, Hamilton, Haskell, Kearny, Lane, Logan, Meade, Morton, Ness, Scott, Seward, Sheridan, Sherman, Stanton, Stevens, Thomas, Wallace and Wichita.
