Garden City Volunteer Boosts Community In Arts and Radio
Theresa Stilley moved to Garden City in November 1975 and quickly became a key volunteer. She worked with the Garden City Recreation Commission Arts Program and Community Theatre, helped form the KANZA Society, prepared the CPB application to bring public radio to Southwest Kansas, and serves as treasurer for KANZ. She also volunteered as a relief parent for Southwest Development Services Inc. Stilley advocates community contribution through volunteering and believes meeting people is a core benefit. National Volunteer Week runs April 27 through May 3.
