Garden City events highlight fairs and concerts this week
Today and Sunday the Western Kansas Broadcast Center Better Home and Better Living Show runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 12 to 5 p.m. at the Finney County Exhibition Building Garden City. On March 29 Garden City Humdinger Band performs at Garden Valley Retirement Village. April 1 hosts the 38rd Annual Garden City Community College Endowment Association Scholarship Auction at Finney County Fairgrounds with wristbands $20 and multiple donation stations. A farewell exhibition for David Kinder opens at Mercer Gallery noon to 4 p.m. weekdays and 2 to 5 p.m. Sundays through April 21 with a public reception April 3. Also listed are Wry Toastmasters meetings Health Department hours and Senior Center activities including STEPS exercise, Bridge and Rock performances and Meals on Wheels information.
