Lakin students try horseback riding in lifetime recreation class
About 20 students in Lakin High School's lifetime recreation class tried horseback riding at the Jennings Indoor Arena. Junior Garcia rode one of five horses as it briefly trotted around the arena, after learning to saddle and bridle. Other students, including Christian Vazquez and Joe Seeger, found the class easy and fun while Alexa Nevarez said she loves horses.
